For questions not answered by the 2-D Doctor, a proteomics research inquiry can be e-mailed directly to Bio-Rad's 2-D experts. Replies are returned no later than 5 PM on the following business day (Pacific Standard Time).

If your question involves troubleshooting a 2-D gel image, please help us provide you with the best technical support by including the following information in the body of your question:

  1. pH range and length of IPG strip
  2. Amount of protein loaded
  3. Focusing conditions
  4. Equilibration conditions
  5. SDS-PAGE conditions (including gel type/name and percentage)
  6. Staining conditions
  7. Image(s) of the 2-D gel in question (attach file[s] below)
